More than 23 million Americansare living with diabetes and about1.6 million new cases are diagnosed every year in the U.S.said the CDC, who also said that the disease was the 7th leading cause of death in the US in 2006.

Diabetes mellitus is a disorder of metabolism that results from a deficiency of insulin. Insulin, produced by the pancreas, controls your blood sugar (glucose) levels.

Insulin normally lowers your blood sugar levels. In the absence of insulin, blood sugar levels climb, leading to serious health consequences. Diabetes is the leading cause of kidney failure, blindness in adults, and amputation. Diabetes also increases the risk for heart disease, stroke and birth defects.

After the chiropractic adjustment, Dr. Mayo asked, “Is that all you are going to do? What is wrong with my wife? Where is she sick? What is your diagnosis?”

Dr. Palmer replied, “We don’t know. What is more, we don’t care.”

“You are a very ignorant man,” retorted Dr. Mayo.

“We are ignorant of everything you think we should know,” countered B.J.

After a pause, Dr. Palmer spoke again. “You, too, are a very ignorant man. You are ignorant of everything we think you should know about the cause of disease in the backbone of sick people. We know cause; you know there is a difference or you wouldn’t be here. That’s the difference in your approach, which has done your wife no good, and our approach, which will get your wife well.”

What are you teaching your children about health?

Children learn from those who are important to them in life, like parents and teachers. They learn, not from what you tell them but from your actions. Ware are you teaching them about health? Are you leaving them with a legacy of health and wellness, or one of sickness and disease? Are you teaching them how to be sick, with poor eating habits, high stress, little exercise, and subluxations that go unnoticed, and uncorrected? Do you take drugs for every little ache and pain, teaching them to cover up important symptoms? Symptoms are the alarms our body sends off, to tell us that our behavior is creating disease, or to tell us that something within the body is malfunctioning. When you feel “bad”, do you take drugs to feel better? Do you take aspirin or Tylenol when you have a headache?

Vaccines have never been proven truly safe except for perhaps the parameters of immediate death or some specific adverse events within up to 4 weeks.

Smallpox was not eradicated by vaccines as many doctors readily say it was. They say this out of conditioning rather than out of understanding the history or science.”

For years there has been dissension and internal turmoil not only between chiropractors, but also between chiropractors and medical doctors. Understandably so for when philosophy is abandoned, direction is lost. Philosophy gives us our “Why” – why we do what we do. Today you have chiropractors (which are supposed to be a drugless profession) prescribing herbs and vitamins to “naturally” treat conditions of disease, who scorn medical doctors and their pharmaceuticals because of their toxicity yet perform the same medical service of symptom relief through external treatment. It is of no surprise that medicine and chiropractic are at ends – they perceive us as doing what they do.

Angina is caused by reduced blood flow to your heart muscle. Your blood carries oxygen, which your heart muscle needs to survive. When your heart muscle isn’t getting enough oxygen, it causes a condition called ischemia.

There are many options for angina treatment, including lifestyle changes, medications, angioplasty and stenting, or coronary bypass surgery. The goals of treatment are to reduce the frequency and severity of your symptoms and to lower your risk of heart attack and death.

As you can see, the medical community’s solution to angina revolves mainly around invasive, “outside-in” techniques. And, their goal is to avoid death. I don’t think that’s good enough. Do you?? Our goal is to allow your body to heal and thrive!

The brain stem is the area of our nervous system that controls all of our vital organ functions; things like our heartbeat, breathing, and immunity to name a few. In fact, brain stem function is what we call the autonomic nervous system or ANS.

But how does the ANS know how many times our heart should beat a minute? Or how many breaths of air we need? How is it that the ANS knows to still function while we are sleeping?

Birth is a normal biological process. It does not require management as a disease, but even a seemingly “uneventful” birth is stressful and traumatic for the mother and neonate. Pregnancy and birth have special significance for the chiropractor, as often the mother and child are exposed to harmful routine practices for which scientific investigation is poorly documented, or often not assessed for long-term effects on the fetus and the mother. With respect to the infant, the longer undetected dysfunction is allowed to continue in the developing nervous system and spine, the greater the potential to affect the patient.

The following areas are important to address during pregnancy and birth to detect potential sources of fetal intrauterine stress prior to labor, stressing the passage of the fetus during labor, and management at the time of birth.

The following article was written by Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, an advocate for vaccine education and awareness. In February 1998, a paper written by Wakefield and 12 other doctors about 12 autism spectrum children was published in The Lancet. The paper described what its authors suggested was a new syndrome, raising the possibility of a link between a novel form of bowel disease, autism, and the MMR vaccine. Since that time, Dr. Wakefield has been the target of mainstream medicine, as they continually attempt to discredit him, and his work. In this article, Dr. Tenpenny responds to the latest attacks.
